In the early versions, I met <strong>VMware ESX 2.5 version, <\/strong>which was a\u00a0redhat-based distribution, in 2005, but we couldn&#8217;t create a shot until it became 4.1 version:)<strong> The ESX\u00a0<\/strong>was used before the <strong>4.0 <\/strong>version, renamed as\u00a0<strong>ESXi<\/strong> as a customized distribution after <strong>4.0<\/strong>.\u00a0Currently <strong>6.7<\/strong> version is used.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Microsoft Hyper-V<\/strong>, thanks to an attractive price advantage in the industry. Running <strong>Windows Server<\/strong> <strong>2008 as a <\/strong>role built on the Hyper-V operating system,developed with <strong>Windows Server 2008<\/strong> <strong>R2<\/strong> and increased its use. Today it is used as the latest version with <strong>Windows Server 2016<\/strong>. <strong>Windows Server 2019 <\/strong>is <strong>expected<\/strong> to emerge in the last quarter of <strong>2018<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oracle VM Server for x86<\/strong> is the virtualizatio<strong>n <\/strong>solution that <strong>Oracle<\/strong> provides for free with its hardware. It can be used free of charge as long as you are able to download the product. <strong>Oracle&#8217;s x86-based<\/strong> solutions are running <strong>Oracle VM S<\/strong>er<strong>ver, <\/strong>including <strong>Oracle Databa<\/strong>se <strong>Appliance<\/strong>, <strong>Oracle Private<\/strong> <strong>Cloud Appliance\u00a0<\/strong>as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM)<\/strong>\u00a0is available as an example of <strong>Redhat<\/strong> virt<strong>ualiza<\/strong>ti<strong>on and Nutanix<\/strong> <strong>Acropolis for<\/strong> Linux-based virtualization variants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although the use of virtualization, which is now indispensable for information technologies, is 10 years in the x86 community, Unix\/Linux users have been benefited from the older time.
